Home Ventilation
Fresh, healthy air and reduced condensation for well-insulated, airtight homes
About Home Ventilation
As homes become better insulated and draught-proofed, controlling moisture and stale air becomes more important, not less. Poor ventilation can lead to condensation, mould, and musty air, particularly in bathrooms, kitchens, and recently insulated properties. We install and upgrade ventilation systems - from simple extractor fans to whole-house mechanical ventilation - to keep air fresh without losing the energy efficiency you've invested in.
Benefits of Home Ventilation
Reduce Condensation & Mould
Effective ventilation removes excess moisture at source, reducing the black mould and damp patches common in poorly ventilated homes.
Healthier Indoor Air
Removing stale air and pollutants improves indoor air quality, which is particularly important for households with allergies or respiratory conditions.
Protect Your Insulation Investment
Good ventilation prevents moisture building up within newly insulated walls and lofts, protecting both the insulation and the building fabric.
Energy Efficient Options
Heat recovery ventilation systems extract stale air while recovering much of its heat, minimising energy loss compared to simple extraction.
Our Process
We assess your property's current ventilation, insulation levels, and any existing damp or condensation issues to recommend the right solution - whether that's upgraded extractor fans in kitchens and bathrooms, trickle vents, positive input ventilation (PIV), or a full mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) system. Installation is carried out with minimal disruption, and we test the system on completion to confirm correct airflow.
Specifications & Materials
We install ventilation systems in line with Building Regulations Part F (Ventilation), using components sized correctly for room volumes and occupancy. Where heat recovery systems are specified, ducting is designed to minimise pressure loss and noise, and units are commissioned to confirm performance meets the design specification.
Guarantees & Certification
All ventilation installations are completed to current Building Regulations and come with manufacturer warranties on equipment, backed by our installer guarantee.
